  • White nail polish/tip whitener
  • Pale pink
What I used

  • Collection 2000 manicure 5 day wear 103 French White
  • Rimmel London 60 seconds 740 Clear
  • Collection 2000 59 (this is quite old)
Step 1

Paint all your nails in the clear coat.

Tesco and Superdrug Beauty Haul

So the other day I went to Tesco and I picked up a few things. They had a reduced make up section full of Barbara Daly things (Tesco’s own brand) and Rimmel London things. I managed to restrain myself and only buy a few items. Today I was in town and I needed to kill some time (hardest thing to do when there are very few shops) I found myself going to Superdrug and I seem to be unable to go in there and not buy something. In my defence the things I bought are all things which I will use.
So first up I got the vanilla and neroli Skin Wisdom Day Spa body butter. I believe this range is only available at Tesco and I right now it is on buy one get one free.  This looks and feels like a luxury product it is a very rich body butter which I like and it smells amazing.
Next I picked up the VO5 shampoo as mine is running out. I always change my shampoo I very rarely repurchase shampoos in a row as I think my hair gets immune to them. I do often go back to some of them. I usually go back to the Herbal Essences range as I love them. I don’t think I’ve ever used this shampoo before so it’s nice to try something new.
Now on to make up (yay) so I picked up 2 nail polishes by Barbara Daly. Ocean ripple is a gorgeous powdery blue colour and I love it. The other one is called denim it is a really nice blue colour with purple and gold glitter in it.

I bought a Rimmel London lipstick as I just love lipsticks right now. I got it in the shade 110 Pink Gossip. It is a really nice bright pink.

Now on to my Superdrug purchases for some reason I didn’t pick up any conditioner when I was in Tesco so I decided to pick some up today I chose the VO5 conditioner I got a 250ml bottle instead of 500ml because I use conditioner at a slower rate than shampoo and when I finish a shampoo I still have half a bottle of conditioner. I don’t like mixing brands when it comes to shampoo and conditioner I have to use the conditioner that corresponds to my shampoo.

I picked up a Miss Sporty Dr Balm as I have heard many good things about them. I got it in the shade Glam as I know they are quite sheer. I think even this colour might be too sheer if you’re looking for it to add a bit of colour.  Keep your eyes out for a full review.

The last thing I bought was a collection 2000 manicure 5 day wear nail polish. I bought this to do French manicures with. It is in the shade 103 French White. I am going to do a post on my French manicure.

Have you tried any of these products if so let me know if you like them?

Have a good day

MUA Lip Booms Review

I recently picked up 2 of MUAs Lip Booms. They are priced at £3 each but at the moment Superdrug is running an offer buy 2 for £4 which is a really good deal. The Lip Booms where created with Alexandra Burke. They are a 4 in 1 product.
What MUA says “Lipstick and highlighting gloss that creates fuller curvaceous lips for a dramatic illusion of volume. There are 4 amazing ways to transform your lips and give them some Boom!”
There are 8 shades to choose from It’s a situation, LMK(Let Me Know), Ok.com, Vibe, Cheeky, Doin Good, OMG and Bring it.
I got OMG and Vibe I was actually planning on getting these two and it was a bit of luck as they were the only 2 shades left in my Superdrug. These two shades are very different from anything that I own.  OMG is a coral colour and Vibe is a brown colour. There are four ways you can wear them.

There is 4 parts to the product the lip gloss, lip gloss applicator, lipstick and a little pot of lip balm. I am not particularly sure why they put a lip balm in and I don’t think I’m going to use it. I love the lip gloss it smells amazing ( it reminds me of butterscotch angel delight). It is perfect for if you want to add a little shine to your lips. I quite like MUAs lipsticks they aren’t the longest wearing ones or the most moisturising but they are still really good for the price.

7 Things As Seen On Sprinkle Of Glitter

So I saw this blog post on Sprinkle Of Glitter and decided to give it a go. You can read the original blog posts here, here and here.

I have just finished my exams and this is a really good post for me to do as I have so many things that I want to do or catch up on.

Tidy: I really need to tidy my room whilst I've been revising my room has somenone how managed to get in a right mess so it really does need cleaning.

Read: I feel as if I haven't read a book in ages. I used to read all the time so I reallly want to get back into it also it will make a change as i will be actually reading something that I want to instead of boring notes.

Catch up on TV: Whilst revising I recorded a lot of my favourite TV shows so now I really need to catch up as the sky box has become nearly full (opps)

Chill: I think it is important for me to spend time relaxing as I have been so stressed with all the exams and haven't had much time to do much for myself so I am going to just sit back and relax for a while.

Paint: I really want to get back into painting my nails I used to paint my nails all the time and then Whilst revisng there never seemed to be enough time to paint them. Also I have a lot of new colours I want to try out.

Hang out with my friends: I feel that I haven't spent much time with my friends recently. I have seen them but it has been mostly to revise so I want to spend plenty of time with them. Another good reason to do this is at the end of summer my friend is moving to Australia.

Shopping: This may seem a strange one but I haven't been on a proper shopping trip in ages and I really need to get some new clothes for summer as well.

What are you going to be doing?

I'm not wearing too much makeup today because my hay fever has been really bad and my eyes have been terrible so I have only put on some mascara. It is by Rimmel London the Extra Super Lash mascara. The lipstick I am wearing is by ELF and is in the shade Classy. On my face I have just used the MUA BB cream. I am really impressed with it and I defiantly suggest you go check it out.

Superdug and Sainsburys Haul

In Sainsburys I picked up a few things. Firstly I picked up Glamour magazine. For those of you who don't know Glamour have teamed up with Benefit to offer three fabulous free gifts. You could choose from Bad Lash mascara, That Gal primer or Porefessional primer. My Sainsburys didn't have the Porefessional primer (yes I was sad enough to look through every Glamour magazine) so I decided to get the primer as I already have a lot of mascaras. I haven't used it yet but I will report back on how good it is. I picked up some nail polish (pretty boring I know) as mine is running out and I don't want to use my entire Bourjois one because it is very difficult to get hold of. I picked up two new things from the Dirty Works range. I already own the facial wipes and the foot butter and I loved them so I thought I'd try some of their other stuff. I bought the body lotion and body spray they smell amazing but I haven't used them yet.

In Superdrug I picked up four things. I got the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation after hearing so many good things about it I decided to purchase it for myself. At the moment you can save £2 instead of being £8.99 it is £6.99. I got mine in the shade Ivory. Next I picked up the MUA BB cream. BB creams are becoming increasingly popular now that summer is here. It offers a light coverage and is an all in one cream that primes, smooths and conceals. Lastly I picked up two Miss Sporty nail polishes as at the moment they are 2 for £2.99 instead of £1.99 each. I picked up Blue Bath and a topcoat called Sparkle Touch it is a gorgeous glitter top coat.

Jubilee ELF Haul

I ordered from Elf again (opps) this time they had three offers to choose from: free delivery, 30% off or a goody bag. I choose the goody bag as I wasn't going to buy too much so I wouldn't qualify for the 30% off.

I started by ordering 2 brushes both from the studio range. The eyeshadow brush and the concealer brush. You can never have too many eyeshadow brushes and the brushes from ELF are so reasonably priced its unreal. I needed a new concealer brush as the one I got in the 10 piece set was way too small to blend in concealer.

I am a big fan of the ELF matte lip colours. I already own one in the shade tea rose so I ordered this one in the shade natural. They are so easy to apply and the colours are beautiful. I find them easier to apply than lipsticks.

I bought 2 lipsticks because I am a little lipstick mad. I love lipsticks and they are the one thing that I wear every day. I bought the shades Classy and Gypsy. I love the ELF lipsticks they are such a great price and are really pigmented also as an added bonus they smell really nice.

The last thing that I ordered was a brightening eye colour in the shade Nymph Dreams. I have a lot of brown shades and this was still a neutral palette but had some other colours that weren't brown. For £1.50 you get 4 eye shadows (bargain)

Now onto the goody bag I got three items a beauty book(£6) the neutral eye edition, a nail polish (£2.50) in the shade light red and an all over colour stick (£1.50) in the shade toasted. I love the concept of these as you can use it on your eyes, face or lips however the colour is not one that I would have chosen but I am still really happy with my order and look forward to trying the products.
