MUA Blush in Lolly Review

MUA Blush in Lolly
Last year MUA released 6 new blushes shades. After trying Candyfloss and Marshmallow  I was really impressed with the quality of these blushes and seen as how they are only £1 I wanted to try more of the shades. I picked the shade Lolly as I don't have any other blushes like it.

Packaging
The packaging is quite simple although relatively sturdy. I like that it has a clear plastic lid so that you can easily identify the colour when it is in your collection. The packaging is very compact and it is great for travelling as it takes up hardly any space.

Formula
I love the texture of theses blushes they are a little bit chalky but considering that they are only £1 they are quite soft and easy to work with. The pigmentation is amazing for the price and they are blend really well. This blush does have a tiny bit of shimmer but it is barely noticeable meaning that this blush is almost matte which is a rare thing to find at the drugstore as the majority of blushes have shimmer in. I like this as an alternative as it can be worn quite suitably to give a peachy glow to the cheeks which I am liking more and more now.

MUA Blush in Lolly
Colour
This is a gorgeous peachy colour not a colour I usually go for but I am trying a lot more peachy blushes because I really like them. A lot of the peachy blushes I own are very similar as they have obviously gone down the Nars Orgasm dupe road but this is different. I having been really enjoying wearing this especially as it as been so sunny I think this colour looks really lovely in the sun.

I really like these blushes, the colour range is lovely and the quality of these blushes is amazing. The blushes cost £1 and you can buy them in Superdrug and on the MUA website I think that they are great value for money and I really recommend that you give them a try. I am very tempted to buy all the shades because these are a fantastic quality and they are so affordable.

Summary:

New MUA Blusher Shades Review

MUA Blushes Marshmallow and Candyfloss
This year MUA released 6 new blushes shades. I hadn't tried any of the single blushes before and I thought I would give them ago. The new shades are Bubblegum, Bon Bon, Marshmallow, Candyfloss, Lolly and Cupcake.
MUA Blushes Marshmallow and Candyfloss
I chose the shade Marshmallow and Candyfloss as these are the 2 shades that I am most likely to wear. Candyfloss is very similar to the shade glowing from Fashionista . I love that MUA have started to name their products and all the blushes have such cute names. The packaging is quite simple although relatively sturdy. I like that it has a clear plastic lid so that you can easily identify the colour when it is in your collection.

MUA Blushes Marshmallow and Candyfloss
Marshmallow is a bright blue toned pink and is very pigmented. This blush is matte which is good as a lot of drugstore blushes have shimmer in them so this is a rare change. Apparently 2 of the blushes are matte and the other 4 are shimmer shades. I love the texture of theses blushes they are a little bit chalky but considering that they are only £1 they are quite soft and easy to work with. The pigmentation is amazing for the price and they are blend really well. MUA say that Marshmallow would suit any skin type and I think I agree with this as this type of colour usually suits most people. Candyfloss is a dusky rose colour with a gold shimmer in it. Candyfloss is really soft and easy to blend. MUA suggest that this shade would be suitable for pale- medium skin tones. I am quite pale and I think that this blush looks really flattering on me.

The blushes cost £1 and you can buy them in Superdrug and on the MUA website I think that they are great value for money and I really recommend that you give them a try. I have since bought another of these blushes in the shade Lolly which I will review soon.

Top 5 Blushes

Top 5 Blushes
Today I thought I would share with you my top 5 blushes I love reading these types of posts and I'm going to make it into a series showing you different products that I love.

Top 5 Blushes
So to start with I will tell which blushes I have picked so I'll start from the left and work my way across the top row and then do the bottom row. I chose the blush from ELF's Contouring Blush and Bronzer Kit in St Lucia (it is very similar to the single blush Twinkle Pink from ELF), MUA Mosaic Blush in English Rose, Dainty Doll in My Girl, NYC Color Wheel in Plum Passion and Natural Collection in Pink Cloud.

I love the ELF blush as it is different from all off my other blushes. I usually go for pink blushes but it is a coral colour and it is so pretty. It has quite a bit of shimmer in it but I don't mind a little bit of shimmer.

I really like the MUA blush it was one of my first ever blushes and I still like it to this day. I love mosaic blushes as you get a mixture of colours that work really well together.

The Dainty Doll blush is a gorgeous light pink which adds a little glow to my cheeks I love it for spring as the colour is so pretty.

The NYC blush is my go to blush in the autumn/winter as it is a darker pink than my others and looks perfect at that time in the year.

The last blush is a newest addition to my collection. I love Pink Cloud as it is such a gorgeous shade of pink which looks lovely on my skin. I love wearing the MUA highlighter with this blush.
