Collection Bronze Glow in Sunkissed Review

I have never really been into wearing bronzers, but recently I have been wearing bronzer a lot more. I haven’t been going crazy I am not into contouring just adding a slight colour to my cheeks.
Collection Bronze Glow in Sunkissed
I picked up this bronzer from Collection in Poundworld as I thought it would be a great way to try a bronzer that wasn’t too expensive. The packaging is a big circular compact which does look slightly cheap but when it is so affordable I won’t complain too much. You get a lot of product for your money (19g) I doubt I’ll be running out of it anytime soon. To apply it I use a kabuki brush and I apply it on my cheeks and a little bit on my temples in order to add a bit of colour to my face.

Collection Bronze Glow in Sunkissed
This bronzer has a light shimmer running through it but it isn’t too much that it makes your face look glittery. The light shimmer in it really helps to brighten up my face and give a healthy glow. I find that the colour is really good for my pale skin as it isn’t too dark or orange. The price of the bronzer is quite good although it is one of Collection’s higher priced products, it costs £4.19 but is on offer for £2.99 at the moment.

I’m really glad that I picked this up as I have been wearing it nearly every day this month. I think I may be converted to using bronzers now, I don’t think I’m ever going to be a contouring queen but I am definitely into adding a bit of colour to my face. I think it helps to add a healthy glow to my skin which I am really enjoying especially now that the weather is improving.

Milani Sunset Duo in Sunset Beach Review

Today I am going to be reviewing the Milani Sunset Duo in Sunset Beach. I have previously reviewed the Milani Sunset Duo in Sunset Breeze and the Milani Glimmer Stripes in Pink Glimmer and I really liked both of them. I picked up the Milani products in Poundland as they are not that readily available in the UK.
Milani Sunset Duo in Sunset Beach

The packaging of this is pretty nice. It comes in a gold compact with a clear lid. On this particular one I find that the lid isn’t that secure but on the other two that I own the lid is much more secure so I am not sure why this one is different.  I like that this is a two in one product as I don’t wear bronzer that often but I am more likely to wear it if it is in the same compact as the blush that I am wearing. One complaint that I have is that the blush and bronzer are not equal in size. I think it would be much easier if it was split down the middle as I find it difficult to get my brush in just the blush or just the bronzer.
Milani Sunset Duo in Sunset Beach
I use the Real Techniques Blush Brush to apply this product but like I mentioned above this brush is quite big which isn’t ideal for applying the blush as there is only a small area that I often get bronzer on my brush as well.
Milani Sunset Duo in Sunset Beach
The blush is a really pretty plum shade with gold shimmer running through it. I don’t have any other shade like this in my collection and I find that it looks very pretty on my pale skin. The bronzer has a slight bit of shimmer in it but it isn’t too much that your face looks glittery. The pigmentation of these two is ok. There are more pigmented blushes available but if you want a subtle touch of colour then this is great. The bronzer is more pigmented than the blush. I use the bronzer to add some colour all over my face.

Milani Sunset Duo in Sunset Beach
Overall I do like this product but this is not my favourite colour combination I prefer Sunset Breeze and Sunset City as the colour combination is better suited to my skin tone.

MUA Mosaic Bronzer in Sunkissed Glow Review

I don't wear bronzer very much so when I buy a bronzer I like to spend as little as possible as I won't be wearing it very often. I bought the MUA Mosaic Bronzer in Sunkissed Glow as I had previously tried the Mosaic Blush and really liked it.
MUA Mosaic Bronzer in Sunkissed Glow
Packaging
The packaging is a simple black round compact that has a clear lid so that you can see the colour of the product. I like this because in a big collection I like to be able to see the colours of my products as it makes it easier to find them. The packaging feels quite sturdy and I wouldn't be afraid to take it travelling.

MUA Mosaic Bronzer in Sunkissed Glow
You get 8.9g of product which is quite a lot and well worth spending £2.50.
Colour
Being a mosaic bronzer there are a range of colours that blend together to create one colour this bronzer has 5 colours within it and some of the shades have pink undertones. What I love about this bronzer is that it is quite a subtle colour and unlike a lot of drugstore bronzers this one isn't too muddy or orange. This is a really gorgeous shade for those with paler skintones.
MUA Mosaic Bronzer in Sunkissed Glow
Formula
The Mosaic Blush has quite a chalky texture but this bronzer has a much smoother texture which makes it very easy to blend. I use this bronzer to warm up my complexion and not for contouring as it does have some shimmer in it and I prefer to use a matte bronzer for contouring.

ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzer Review

ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzer St Lucia

Today I want to share with you a product that I have been loving for awhile now. It is the ELF contouring blush and bronzer kit in St Lucia. I bought this awhile ago as I thought it would be handy to have a blush and a bronzer together as it would come in handy for travelling. Many people also compare it to the Nars Orgasm and Laguna duo.

ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzer St Lucia
The blush shade is not one I'd normally go for as I usually wear pink blushes but recently I have been trying to branch out of my comfort zone and try something new so without further ado I'll start with the review.

This is what ELF says about it 'Create a healthy and natural glow all year long with the Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder. The Blush highlights the cheeks to add a flush of colour, while the Bronzer accents and contours cheekbones for beautiful definition.'

The packaging is very akin to Nars packaging in that it is black and sleek but unlike Nars this is made of matte black plastic. I love the huge mirror that comes with this as it makes it perfect for travelling as you don't need to bother packing a mirror.

ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzer St Lucia
The blush is a gorgeous peachy pink which has a gold shimmer running through it. The bronzer is matte and is quite a dark shade of brown which at first caused problems for me as I am quite pale but once I got the hang of using it I was fine. I really like this product, I do tend to use the blush more often than the bronzer because I find it easier to wear. The products are quite powdery compared to other drugstore blushes but for the price you can't really complain. All in all this is a good product and I think it is worth trying I'm surprised by how often I reach for the blush considering I usually only wear pink blushes. One word of warning is that if you already own the ELF single blush in Twinkle Pink then don't get this and the blush shades are almost identical. Also if you prefer cream products then they do a cream version of this as well.

Summary:
Product: ELF contouring blush and bronzer
Price: £3.75
Shades: St Lucia, Antigua (blush= bright pink with shimmer) and Turks and Caicos (blush= rose mauve with gold shimmer)
Where can you buy it: eyelipsface.co.uk
Score(/10) 7

Famous Cosmetics Review

Famous cosmetics
A while ago with my MUA order they gave away free Famous cosmetics and today I want to review them for you. Up until that point I hadn’t heard of Famous cosmetics but I believe that you can only get them at Superdrug and online.  They have very affordable products but they are slightly more expensive than MUA.
Famous cosmetics powder
Famous cosmetics Powder
Famous cosmetics The One and Only

I really like this powder, as it sets my foundation really well. I do find that there is quite a lot of fall out in the pan itselfThis colour is slightly too dark for me but I really like it. I love the packaging and I love the fact that it has a big mirror in it.

Famous cosmetics Baked bronzer
Famous cosmetics bronzer
Famous cosmetics Miami

I was very happy to receive this as I don’t own many bronzers as I am always slightly too scared to wear them as I have very pale skin. I first want to mention the packaging on this is lovely and in the lid there is a generous sized mirror which I find really handy.  This is a very light shade which makes it perfect for paler skin tones. It isn’t that pigmented which is good for me however I think people with darker skin tones wouldn’t like this as it is perhaps too pale.

Famous cosmetics lip addict shade 3 and 4
Famous cosmetics lip addict raw and pillow talk

Lip Addicts in Pillow Talk and Raw £4.99
I love Raw as it’s a great every day colour. It is a really nice nude and I have enjoyed wearing it. I don’t like pillow talk because it isn’t a colour I wear. These are matte lipsticks which I don’t normally like but I do like these. They have a flip up section at the top with a lip balm and tiny mirror which I think is pretty pointless as you can’t see anything in the mirror.

MUA Artiste Palette Review

Where can you buy it- Superdrug or the MUA store

Price- £6

Shades- 6 eyeshadows from left to right Pistachio, Mocca,Ice, Grape, Chocolate and Cookie
4 face products from left to right Pink Shimmer, Primrose, Bronzed and Shimmer Kiss

What does MUA say about it?
‘This is a beautiful artiste collection palette on the go which helps create a full face all in one, with 6 brand NEW merged eye shadows, two powder blushers and a contour shade and highlighter. Shades include shimmery merged tones for fashion-forward statement smoky eyes with light and earthy naturals for an everyday look which can easily be transformed into an evening smoky eye look. The two blushes include warm pink shades for a soft shimmer finish. Finally the contour and highlighter helps create a flawless sculpted natural glow.
My opinion
I love this palette becauseit is so versatile. You can create so many different looks with it. All theeyeshadows are really pigmented and really easy to blend. I love all thecolours except Ice and Grape as they are a bit too bright for me. I lovePrimrose as it is a gorgeous blush colour and I wish I could buy itindividually. I love that MUA are starting to name the shades in theirpalettes. In my opinion isn’t as good as the Undressed palette but it is stillquite good. What lets it down for me is the bronzer, highlighter, Ice andGrape. Not because they are bad products but because I don’t use them. I wouldhave preferred if they had included 4 blushes instead of 2 so that I could havetried more blushes as I am still quite new to blushes.
